UPCOMING EVENTS!
June 6th, Saturday (8am-3pm): Soulard Hula Gras & 12th Street Sidewalk Sale!
Come to Soulard for the day...fun events all day and night abound: The Soulard
Porch will have a Hawaiian band and a Hula Contest, Nadine's will be hosting a
Hawaiian party all day, and we will both have Hula Hoopers on 12th Street as well as
a street sale along 12th and Allen. Come on out for the fun times!
June 7th, Sunday (11am-4pm): Wine Tasting Event for Gateway Pet Guardians.
Location: 1806 Kennett Place in Lafayette Square. This lovely townhouse will be the
setting for a fabulous wine-tasting event to raise money for the dogs! Tickets are $25
June 26th, Friday (6pm-10pm): Luvy Duvy's Cafe in Benton Park is hosting a
fundraiser for a group that is very near and dear to their hearts: They are raising
money to help the Saint Thomas Animal Society US Virgin Islands . This non-profit
group is trying to build a shelter for the island pets. Jackie and Cassady of Luvy
Duvy's used to live in St. Thomas and they have since been dedicated to helping the
island animals. In addition, these girls have hosted many events at their cafe for
local groups such as Stray Rescue, St Louis Boxer Rescue, etc. Anyone who has
attended a party here in the past, knows that this is sure to be a blowout! Cover is
$10(free appetizers, cash bar, live music, and a great silent auction)!
June 27th, Saturday (11am-2pm): Tenth Life Cat Rescue adoption event....with
KITTENS!!
June 30th, 5:30pm (Tuesday): Dr. Garden from Animal Health and Healing will be at
Pets in the City doing a talk about a Holistic Approach to Food and Nutrition for
Dogs and Cats. This talk is FREE, but do please RSVP. Please do not bring your pet;
we have limited space.

July 11th (Saturday): Dr. Sheila Snodgrass from Animal Health and Healing will be at
Pets in the City with her BICOM Machine (food compatibility testing).
